Enjoyed our 5th time at the Hiwassee Outfitters! People working there are always hospitable. Fresh water available for camp sites. Bathhouse includes warm showers. It's a camp site so they can become muddy over the weekends but while we were there they were clean. Store provided essential supplies we forgot and everyone picked up a t-shirt. We will be back and recommend if your looking for a great place to relax.

My family and I was so glad we made it finally to do some rafting at Hiwassee Outfitters! It's very organized, cleaned and plenty things to do! The workers are friendly and very helpful. I would suggest this to be a must for a family or group to visit they won't regret it! Along with excellent services it has a beautiful scenery there. We will revisit at hopes for a weekend stay!!!!

Great staff, fun adventures, awesome setup, and best of all easy too deal with super helpful people. Clean store with good prices and great selections. Clean surroundings, clean bathrooms as much clean as u would expect from a camp ground bathroom. Affordable camping and lodging great for families or get togethers . All boats are in good shape and clean and very very reasonably priced. Everything is a clean and solid run best management ever. The Manager is such a sweetheart and easy to talk to about concerns.

Our group has been using HO for YEARS! We rent a large portion of the campground for the weekend and raft once. As far as I know we've never had any issues. The bathrooms get pretty rough during the day (as is expected for the type of business) but are regularly cleaned so no complaints. The staff has always been super helpful and the coffee at the restaurant is always ready when I drag myself up there in the morning before anyone else wakes up :-) No cell service..... So plan to be off the grid and ENJOY the peace. Can't wait for our next trip!!!!

Husband and I have met friends here for the past 3 or 4 years and I recommend Hiwassee Outfitters to anyone looking for a Great place to have a relaxing vacation! We stay in the big cabin each time and you can't beat that front porch. The kitchen is big enough to comfortably prepare your meals, plus there's a grill out back. The kids always have a great time riding their bikes. The big front yard is great for throwing a football. Without fail it is such a relaxing time, the views are beautiful. The staff make you feel welcome, the rafting is a good time. I can't say enough good things about HO.

We have been going down the Hiwassee River for many years. This is one of a few rivers that can be navigated without a guide and still have a great time with rapids. The equipment is great and we always use the funyaks for the best ride. There's always lots to do, from playing in the water at the back of the campground or playing sports in the big field. It has always been a great experience for us. The staff is friendly and helpful, and having a store on-site is great for the little things. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends.

We are locals and it takes us 20 minutes, maybe, to get here to camp. But we try to camp here every chance we get because we just love it here! Great sites, and everyone is good to you! If you haven’t been here, you should! Check the store out for the best shirts ever! Book a trip on the beautiful hiwassee or bring your own floats! Doesn’t matter which one you do, it’s sure to be a good time here!!

I love this outfitters! They make a huge effort to make you feel welcome and safe on the river! If you have any questions, just ask! They are a really great crew with a wonderful set up right on the river! I highly recommend this business. I have used them for MANY years and NEVER had any problems. They even "rescued" me and a friend when I had an accident and got injured 2 summers ago! Thank you Hiwassee Outfitters!
